Family, friends struggling after Cape teens killed by car

The old man who is no stranger to tragedy dealt with heartbreak again after their teenage daughter struck and killed by a car while leaving high school football games. Happened seven years after his brother was killed in ATV accident.

Taylor Palmer, a student in North Fort Myers High School, hitting while trying to cross the road Pondella Wednesday night.

The driver of a 2005 Ford Taurus is a 30 year old Lauren Franklin from North Fort Myers. He headed east along the dark Road shortly before 8 pm

Still stunned by the tragedy, one of her friends are willing to speak about the minutes leading to his death.

My friend Dylan Corbin said Palmer’s crossing the street to return to North Fort Myers high football games.
