BOSTON (Reuters)-Oracle Corp estimates revenue beat Wall Street as new software sales came in at the high end of the company’s forecast, offsetting a sharp drop in income. hardware

Software maker’s stock rose 1.5 percent after the news, in sharp contrast to sell-off three months ago when the second quarter profits missed analyst forecasts for the first time in a decade.

“Software business bounced back,” Citigroup analyst Walter Pritchard said. “If you look at where the value is on the Oracle, it’ll be a software business.”

Greater Milwaukee Auto Show 2012: Awards and Highlights

Notably absent from the show are Mitsubishi. While there is not much new stuff that comes from the Volvo or Mitsubishi, I was surprised to not see Land Rover. Especially with the success and hype surrounding the new Evoque.

Milwaukee is the relatively small market for cars. And it is understandable that most high-end makes such as Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Ferrari are not present, especially since we don’t have any dealer for the cars.  But in spite of the lack of exotica, there’s plenty to see, touch, drive and experience in the Expo.

The hardest part of reviewing something as big as the auto show is coming up with a list of “winners and losers.” The difficulty lies in the search for what is “best.” Like the people who attended this year’s event, I have my own opinion, I am interested in a specific make and model, and preference in cars most likely differ from yours. After all, cars are “best” on the show is the one that you like most or the one that fits your needs. It is impossible to select one car as the best in the show, if you require a pick-up truck for work or play, the Fiat 500 will not be what is best for you.

So, in writing a review of the show and got to choose what “best”, I’ve changed the category. Hopefully you will find them more relevant and funny the more standard issue reviews and columns.  Let’s get started …

Blair Underwood, Nicole Ari Parker breathes new life into “A Streetcar named …

The couple said the new production not only recreates the classic, but the script that animates its spirit of African-Americans.

Playing Nicole Ari Parker respected, production’s multiethnic cast will bring new meaning to an old favorite.

“It has never been performed on Broadway with a multicultural cast,” Underwood says BET.com. “What we bring to it is the soul of … darkness, people of African descent … our soul of America.”

Set in 1950s New Orleans, the play explores the issues of class and legacy through relations with the iconic character. In the new production, however, the audience will see the long plot played in New Orleans black community social, such as tensions between Creole and Gullah identity replaces the traditional conflict-installation of South America versus the white working class.

As the female lead and Creole reincarnation of Blanche DuBois, one of the most memorable characters of the play, Parker said the universal elements of drama are perfect for African-Americans to overcome.
